Just for fun

The Researcher’s Twelve Days of Christmas.

This post is by Amanda Hipkiss. Amanda is currently a PhD student in the school of Environment, Education and Development.

To be sung to the tune of ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas*

On the twelfth day of Christmas, I realised I’d enjoyed:

12 Tries at EndNote

11 Supervision sessions

10 ‘Quantitative’ lectures

9 Contact lounge lunches

8 User name letters

7 Days of ‘Methods’

6 Borrowed library books

5 Shared study room buddies

4 Placement visits

3 Researcher blog posts

2 Researcher notebooks

And a draft of my Literature Review.

Happy Christmas!

*A traditional English Christmas Carol referring to the twelve days between Christmas Day (December 25th) and Twelfth Night (January 6th).
